Professions are kind of jobs that help the character in a special way. At once, only one profession may be active. There are 3 professions in the game.
Mining is one of the three optional professions that give you the ability to craft mining ore with materials collected around the world.
You can adquire this profession talking with the NPC called Mining in the city.
Mining can be used to upgrade Power stat of the items. It has a help button in game to give you more information about it.
Tier 1, level 1 to 15 (Brown, can be found on Aiorum or Magul)
Tier 2 level 20 to 37 (Lead, can be found on Neverwinter)
Tier 3 level 40 to 60 (Yellow, can be found since Doodler Jungle)
Once you've chosen a profession, you will start encountering minerals specific to that profession on the ground. By simply pressing the attack button near the mineral,
you can pick it up from the ground, and it will be added to your inventory. If you ever decide to change your profession,
that's also possible. You just need to speak with the NPC Alchemist in the city, and he will reset your profession for you.
However, please remember that if you choose to do so, you will revert to level 1 in the profession.
Mining progression

Elementalism
+ Vitality
